Chatsworth Fine Homes was established by our founder and president, Fil Capuano. His passion for home design began in the early 1970s while living in the United Kingdom. Working as an apprentice in many Grand Victorian Estate Homes, Fil found inspiration and awe in the home designs harking back to the traditional craftsmanship of ages gone by.
It was this painstaking detail and stately aesthetic, portraying elegance and luxury, that Fil wanted to bring to the industry with this company. And he did just that!
Awards
Here at Chatsworth Fine Homes, our team are no strangers to award. Fil Capuano won an award scholarship in the United Kingdom for scoring in the top one percent of candidates nationwide testing exams for private high school entrance.
After his graduation, Fil was then awarded the John Cowan Ashton Award, by Ryerson University, in recognition of Academic excellence in their Civil Engineering program. A high honour, this award was started in memory of John Cowan Ashton, who lost his life in the construction of the world-famous CN Tower.
Since then, Chatsworth Fine Homes has established themselves as high-quality home designers in the industry with other prestigious awards bestowed upon us, such as the ‘Best Supplier’ from Color your World Paint Manufacturing Company, BILD Association’s Award Custom Home of the Year in 2015, 2017, garnering a nomination in 2018 as well.
