This was an old garage down on its luck some 25 years ago when Rick Riordan of the Riordan Design group breathed life into it, converting it into a design studio. Since then the Chatsworth team has given it a full facelift, and renovated the interiors from a traditional Georgian style, with heavy trim to a light and airy transitional style. A carport and second-floor and roof patios were also added. The exterior is a typical Georgian façade with hints of transitional detailing. With energy modeling and careful window selection these offices, which had overheating issues from solar heat gain are now a comfortable, cozy, and healthy interior environment!
